We're looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team in a primary school we are representing in Bedford!

About the Role:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pupils. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child succeed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Attributes We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 2 pupils
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement
