Acoustic Consultant

Our client is an established acoustic consultancy that specialises in sustainable architecture. They manage diverse projects, encompassing education, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. Their comprehensive services include modelling, design, assessments, testing, and the development of ventilation and facade optimization products.

Requirements:

  • A strong technical background in architectural and environmental acoustics
  • BSc and/or MSc in acoustics or a related discipline with membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
  • Possession of a valid UK driver's licence
  • Proficiency in various software packages including ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Engage with clients to understand project requirements
  • Prepare and finalise technical reports
  • Utilise project management skills to ensure a smooth process throughout the deliverables' life cycle
  • Work on-site as necessary and provide support to junior/graduate level staff when required
