Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on structural steel components as per project requirements.
• Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Welder specializing in structural steel.
• Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) ticket.
• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
• Valid DBS check.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Strong understanding of welding symbols, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.

Desirable Skills:

• Additional certifications in welding or metalwork.
• Experience with different types of welding equipment and materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
