Job Opening: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter

Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6 PM – 6 AM

Compensation: £20 - £22.50 per hour

Role Overview: We are looking for experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setters to join our client's team for a permanent night shift position. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating HAAS machining centers to create precise components. This position offers engaging and varied tasks with opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Haas 3-axis vertical machining centers.
  • Produce components to exact tolerances from provided drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in setting up and operating milling machines; programming experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HAAS control systems preferable, Fanuc also acceptable.
  • Skilled in using inspection and measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Dedicated to producing components within tolerance specifications.
  • Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with 4th and 5th axis machining is a plus.
