They are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join their team. The CAD Technician will play a crucial role in assisting the in-house design team with drawing production and the implementation of BIM standard and protocols for HVAC & Building Services projects.

The successful candidate will have several years' experience producing drawings for HVAC projects, be a self-starter and team player.

CAD Technician - HVAC

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D/3D M&E drawings using CAD/Revit/BIM.
• Coordinate services with BIM360/ACC.
• Understand and implement BEP, BIM Levels, and COBie.
• Perform clash detection and integrate models.
• Develop and use Revit families and libraries.
• Administer web-based portals and manage Autodesk licenses.
• Manage file transfers via Dropbox/WeTransfer.
• Produce and support contract drawings and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate Builderswork bases and penetrations.
• Set up QA for drawing delivery and maintain drawing standards.
• Collaborate with design teams and external contractors.
• Produce high-quality construction documentation.
• Manage BIM data and maintain standards and protocols

CAD Technician - HVAC

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of ACONEX, Viewpoint, BIM360 would be a plus.
• Several years' experience in a CAD/Revit position, ideally within a building services (M&E) environment.
• Understanding of BEP
• Experience working from design stages 3 - 6.
