Leaving Care Personal Advisor

Location: Worcester

Salary: £20 umbrella an hour

Contract: 3 months initially

About the Role

Worcestershire County Council are seeking a value-laden, enthusiastic, and dynamic Personal Advisor to work within Worcestershire's Children First Care Leavers Service. As a Personal Advisor, you will support young people aged 17-24, placing them at the heart of your decision making and will join a team with an abundance of knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Building reciprocally respectful relationships with young people
• Developing Pathway Plans in collaboration with young people
• Keeping case records
• Completing visits to young people at home and in the community; always seeking to promote the best outcomes possible
• Attending meetings

Requirements

• Flexible and adaptable in practice
• Professionally curious
• Passionate about helping young people achieve their potential
• Can work in line with corporate parenting principles
• Must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle

About You

You will be a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people and partner agencies. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to your practice.
