A renowned and reputable food manufacturing company are seeking a multi skilled engineer/ maintenance engineer to join their team. Having had well established partnerships with some of the UK’s most established brands, they are a titan within their respective market and with recent improvements, they are continuing their expansion into the market.

Despite their commercial success, they have remained a close tight knit group of people. They make it their priority to ensure all members of staff are well looked after and it is this culture that has played a pivotal role in their commercial as well as cultural success.

Salary: Up to £45,000

Shift: Mon-Fri Double days

Location: Herefordshire

Here is a brief overview of the role:

· Breakdown maintenance and fault finding.

· Machine and process improvement.

· Installation of new machinery.

· To quickly diagnose faults and rectify.

· To ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict time schedules.

· Ensure good working practices are adhered to including Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene.

· Minimal unscheduled downtime through immediate response and rectification of problems, prioritisation to key areas

· Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers, and minimising downtime.

· Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Here is a brief overview of the ideal candidate:

  • Experience in FMCG/Food industry preferred.
  • Electrically biased multi skilled.
  • PLC Experience beneficial.
  • Mechanical and pneumatic experience.
