Bariatric Dietitian (Locum band 6 or 7) x 2 Roles

Role 1 - Dietitian for Acute team - band 6 or 7 with experience in acute dietetics - Part time 22.5 hours

Role 2 - Dietitian 0.6WTE for Bariatric team band 6 or 7 experience with weight loss / bariatrics (Full time)

Experience

• Post graduate experience in clinical dietetics
• Previous experience working in the nutritional management of patients with morbid obesity and bariatric surgery
• Experience of undertaking clinical audit
• Experience of multidisciplinary team working
• Knowledge of professional code of conduct and guidance issued by your professional body and adherence to these.
• Well established and in depth knowledge of a range of recent developments in practice

Desirable

• Experience of facilitating patient group sessions
• Knowledge of National guidelines relating to obesity and bariatric surgery e.g. NICE, BOMSS
• Knowledge of the types of bariatric surgery and the dietetic implications of these

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent relevant experience
• HCPC registration
