Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Yard Operative to join their reputable plant/recycling equipment hire business

Responsibilities of the Yard Operative: 

• Working alongside the maintenance team to assist with the clean and prep of machinery - this will include equipment such as shredders, material handling equipment, wheeled loaders, material separators etc.
• Load / unloading vehicles
• Maintain records and keep up to date accordingly
• Manage any damage recharges to equipment upon return to the yard 
• Arrange equipment, load and unload vehicles and sort equipment upon return to the yard
• Keep track of stock and assess/report incoming stock accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe yard and storage areas

To be successful as the Yard Operative you may have previously worked in positions such as a Driver/Fitter, Yard Assistant, Van Driver or a Labourer. You may have also had previous experience within the Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Builders Merchants and/or other related sectors.
