Requirements:
  • To be successful in this EYFS Teaching Assistant role you will…
  • Have at least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related subject.
  • Have a passion for the education of young learners.
  • Have a warm and friendly personality, as well as the natural ability to build strong bonds with young children.
  • Have knowledge surrounding the importance of safeguarding procedures.
  • Preferably have previous experience of working alongside children, or in a school setting.
 
The Role
  • Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Aiding an Early Years child in the development of their basic numeracy, literacy and social skills.
  • Participating in activities with the wider school community in order to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.
  • Partaking in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
  • Assisting staff in the delivery of extra-curricular activities.
  • Following strict safeguarding policies and procedures.
