A rapidly growing small consultancy in London, is seeking a skilled Building Performance Engineer to join their team. Specialising in office and industrial refurbishment projects, this consultancy prides itself on delivering top-tier services to renowned workspace clients. Currently a team of 8, they are on an exciting trajectory to double their size within the next year.
 
Role Overview:
 
As a Building Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of various refurbishment projects. Your expertise in EDSL TAS and experience in building services will be vital in driving the performance modelling efforts for high-profile projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Conduct detailed building performance modelling using EDSL TAS.
·Collaborate with design teams to develop energy-efficient solutions for office and industrial refurbishment projects.
·Perform analysis and simulations to optimise building systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
·Provide technical consultancy to clients, helping them achieve their sustainability objectives.
·Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations based on your analyses.
·Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve services.
 
Requirements:
 
·Proven experience as a Building Performance Engineer or a similar role within the building services sector.
·Proficiency in EDSL TAS is essential.
·Strong understanding of building physics, energy modelling, and simulation techniques.
·Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
·A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
