Salary/Rate:
£70,000 - £75,000/annum Plus Competitive Package

Job Description: As the Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site activities for our new residential development project. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the project, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and site records.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues.
  • Monitor and manage site logistics, materials, and resources efficiently.
  • Implement and uphold quality control procedures to guarantee the finished product meets specified requirements.
  • Lead and motivate the site team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in traditional build residential construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of volume building practices and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, and First Aid at Work certification.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing site activities.
