Salary: £50k – £60k (Based on experience)

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm

Client: Specializes in intelligent drive technology, offering solutions for industrial and automotive industries, serving the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and Repairs

• Perform diagnostics and major unit exchanges.
• Report quality issues during tasks.

Customer Support

• Assist OEMs and support new product launches.
• Aid sales team and build strong customer relationships.
• Minimize customer asset downtime.

Health and Safety

• Follow H&S and Environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with Health & Safety Managers.
• Work safely per documentation and keep training up to date.

Reporting and Administration

• Complete engineering reports and manage expenses.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct annual stock takes.
• Work extra hours as needed.

Training

• Undertake product-specific training when requested.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Completed engineering apprenticeship; level 5 qualification preferred.
• Field services and engineering background.

Technical Skills

• Experience with electric vehicles and high voltage systems.
• Knowledge of zero emission vehicles, electric drive/fuel cell.
• Understanding of variable speed electric drives and control systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and IT skills.

Additional Requirements

• Full UK driving license.
