My client are a dynamic organisation who have ambitious growth plans and are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Technician who ideeally has experience in maintaining and servicing temporary power equipment, generators, AMF Boards, EV Chargers and distribution boards.

Maintain the quality and safety of the rental fleet through provision of outstanding preventative maintenance, repair, inspection and testing service.

Responsibility for fault finding, diagnosis and rectification. Managing the depot repair, inspection and testing process; including visual inspection, cleaning, maintenance, repair and testing electrical distribution equipment to company procedures. Building and reworking site distribution boards to customer specifications. Cable maintenance and manufacturing. Changing power locks and lugs. Crane Operation, picking equipment, strap/wrap and load vehicles. Manage off hires and damage / loss costs. Build boards to specification, general modifications, functional tests, annual tests, AMF boards test and inspect. Configure and test ELR's, EV chargers and distribution boards.

Ensuring an efficient operation, in order that equipment is 'ready for hire' and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse. Maintaining spares stock volumes.

Ensuring compliance with CE electrical standards and providing technical advice to customers and colleagues.

Carrying out site temporary power distribution installations and de-installing equipment, to meet customer requirements.
