Enfield
£36 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (3 months )
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Prosecutions Lawyer in Enfield. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
Responsibilities include:
- To conduct all aspects of complex and/or politically sensitive legal matters
- To support, supervise and mentor colleagues where required by Principal Lawyer or Assistant Principal
- To contribute to the management and strategy of the Legal Services Team
- To advise members in public and private meetings including committees and sub-committees.
- To conduct own advocacy and on behalf of the team, where relevant, including interim hearings
The candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales, Barrister, CILEX or equivalent
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in Prosecutions and Enforcement
- Experience in at least one of the following:
- Prosecutions under the Housing Act 2004
- Regulatory Crime;
- Fraud;
- Advocacy;
- Environmental Health Crime
