Quality Engineer

Inside IR35 freelance opportunities exists for experienced Quality Engineers on an iconic construction/rail project in West Yorkshire. Civil Engineering Construction monitoring would be preferred.
Duties include
- Oversee and manage quality processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct internal audits and site surveillance to monitor quality across projects.
- Utilize BIM360 for effective project management and quality control.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001 standards, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards and auditing processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions to enhance quality.
Requirements for this project include
- Preferably IRCA accredited, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficient in BIM360 and IT literate, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Preferably affiliated to CQI
- Extensive experience in internal auditing and quality assurance.
- Preferably competent in conducting site and construction surveillance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
