Position: Ganger/Team Leader - Pipelaying

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Ganger/Team Leader with a background in pipelaying to lead a dedicated team on an upcoming project in Oswestry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team and ensuring the successful completion of all tasks related to pipelaying. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of pipelayers to complete project tasks efficiently and to high standards
• Overseeing the laying of pipes according to project specifications
• Ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations
• Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise on site

Team Requirements:

• A complete team consisting of 2 pipelayers:
  • One pipelayer must have a dumper ticket
  • One pipelayer must have a slinger ticket

Compensation:

• £25 per hour for the Ganger/Team Leader
• £21 per hour for the pipelayers

Requirements:

• Proven experience in pipelaying and team leadership
• Must have own team of qualified pipelayers
• Valid tickets for dumper and slinger as specified
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Oswestry
• Ability to start immediately
