Secondary Maths Teacher in Andover

Start Date: September 2024

(potential to become permanent)

Contract Type: Full time, Long term contract

Paid to Scale - £143 - £230 per day

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in Andover who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher for September 2024 start. This will be a temporary position with the potential to move into a permeant position. You will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection.

The role:

  • Full Time – Monday to Friday
  • You will be required to teach Maths to KS3/4 students.
  • Planning and preparing for lessons which cater to all students
  • Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students learning as appropriate
  • Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
  • Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale

 

Requirements for the role:

  • Must experience teaching Maths up to and including GCSE
  • You will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to all students
  • Will be required to apply for an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service
