Position Details:

Location: Derby

Age Range: Nursery, EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, POST 16

Type of Role: Full-time

Days of the Week: Monday to Friday

Hours of Work: 08:30 to 15:30

Contract Type: Long-term

Start Date: Immediate starts available, with most roles beginning in September. Flexible start date for the right person.

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 pro rata, varies depending on the role

Qualifications Needed: Desirable but not essential

Experience Required:

· No need for orthodox teaching roles as this is an assistant role within the science department to help the smooth running of lessons.

· Ability to help create a bespoke curriculum that is fun, inclusive, and helps children re-engage with education.

Job Responsibilities:

· Helping the class teacher set up for the day.

· Delivering booster sessions to lower ability children.

· Potentially working on a 1:1 basis with children needing extra support.

Interview Process:

· Complete a comprehensive application and vetting form.

· Interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on-site, lasting no longer than 45 minutes.

· Full vetting will need to be completed before you start.
