Permanent Head of Engineering role - Midlands
If you want a (group) Head of Engineering role that reports to the C-suite, offers real autonomy, and doesn't do projects "on the cheap," - in that case, this job might be for you.
It's a classic HoE role with multi-site management of Engineering, overseeing daily operations, major and minor projects, and contributing to the overall business strategy.
You would get to use your experience/knowledge in value stream mapping, line balancing, bowtie etc. as well as looking after small projects, with the scope to hire a PM to work for you in future.
The person who gets this job will (definitely) have managed an Engineering Manager or Maintenance Manager while working for a UK manufacturing business.
Aside from that, the company is open to suggestions on exactly what sort of industry background this person will come from.
