Role: Residential Child care Worker
Location: Heysham
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 24 hr shift working 1 day on, 2 days off
Salary: starting £33,727
The Role:
P4 Recruitment are working with a care provider whose mission is to lead the way in offering bespoke therapeutic care and education to vulnerable young people.
About the role:
This role of a residential child care worker will allow you to be creative when caring for children and young people. You will ensure safeguarding of the children and young people is paramount. A full, valid UK driving license for manual vehicles is needed for attending appointments, education and other activities.
The ideal candidate:
- Up to 12 months experience working with children or young adults
- Working towards or a desire to obtain Level 3 Diploma relevant to Children and Young People’s Residential workforce
- Highly responsible and accountable when it comes to safeguarding children and young people
- A keen interest in pursuing relevant childcare qualifications and training
- Resilient and confident when facing challenging situations
