Are you looking for ongoing driving work?
Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) looking for to work in the evenings and Full/Part time drivers who can work midweek and weekends on a regular ongoing basis for our client based in Louth. You will be required carry out trunk runs and deliver goods to distribution centres or carry out trailer swaps in a curtain side vehicle.
What will I be expected to do?
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
What shifts and start times are available?
We have evenings from 1700. We also have weekend shifts available as this is a 24/7 operation.
How much will I be paid as a HGV Driver?
Nights - £16.00ph
Saturday - Night £17.50
Sunday -Night £21.00
Which skills or experience do I need to apply?
- 2 Years minimum Class 1 experience
- Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
- No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s – no more than 6 points
