Role: Warehouse / General Operative 

Location: Holmfirth 

Salary: £11.44 per hour (Temp – Perm) 

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a Warehouse / General Operative for our client based in Holmfirth. The role is to join a well-established distribution company, with the opportunity to go permanent after a probationary period. 

The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to: 

• Picking orders form a paper systems but also scanning barcodes ready for dispatch.  

• Weighing out materials and packaging goods.  

• Ensuring orders are accurate and ready for dispatch within deadline.  

• Possible use of FLT for loading / unloading deliveries.  

Preferred Skills/ Experience: 

• Experience in a similar role 

• Basis level of numeracy and literacy & confident using computers. 

• Good eye for detail 

• Experience working hand scanners & FLT licence would be beneficial. 

Hours:  

DAY SHIFT ONLY 

7:30 – 8pm 4 on 4 off shift rotation. 

Please note this will mean you will be required to work weekends depending on how your shift rota falls.
