Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 Per annum
Job DescriptionJob Duties:
- Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects
- Conduct risk assessments and value engineering
- Manage project costs within budget constraints
- Prepare tender and contract documents
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Monitor and control project progress and costs
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is desirable
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the civils industry
- Experience in managing project costs and budgets
- NEC 3 & 4 Experience
- Tier One Contractor Experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Excel, CostX)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered status with RICS or equivalent
- Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Working Conditions:
- Office-based work with occasional site visits
- Hybrid working
- Standard working hours with potential for overtime
- Travel may be required to project sites
