Job Title: Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver
Location: Chorley
Shifts: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm
Salary: £11.50 p/h + bonuses throughout the year
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to join our client based in Chorley.
The Role:
• To ensure that all deliveries are received in good condition
• Liaise with office staff and suppliers to sort out discrepancies and returns
• Book in all received goods into the correct bays always checking quality and conformance
• Record dimensions and weigh parts received
• Labelling, booking and despatching goods
• Pick goods as indicated on pick/packing list
• Scan and save all documentation into correct files and databases
• Maintaining and accounting for stock and controlling stock levels
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
The candidate:
• Previous experience within a warehouse is essential
• Be able to work alone and as part of a team
• Computer literate
• FLT Counterbalance is essential
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures
