Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher
Location: Telford
Salary: £155 - £250 per day, dependant on experience.
Contract Type: 12 months fixed term, part-time (4 days per week).
Start Date: September 2024.

Smile Education are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher on behalf of one of our wonderful partner secondary schools. The school you will be joining is an inclusive secondary school committed to providing a high-quality education for its pupils. The school is known for its supportive staff, excellent facilities and a strong focus on academic excellence and student wellbeing. They are currently looking for a Science Teacher to join their team for 12 months starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment which encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
• Work with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK is
• Experience teaching science at secondary level, and the ability to provide references to confirm this.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the assessment requirements for science.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
