Job Advert: Mobile Caretaker

Position: Van Driver/Caretaker
Location: Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham
Salary: £13.20 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)

The role would be TEMP TO PERM - for the right candidate this could turn into a permanent position as it is currently a open vacancy.

Are you a dedicated and reliable individual with a clean UK driving licence (up to 6 points accepted)? Join our team as a Van Driver/Caretaker and help maintain a safe and clean environment in the Chatham, Rochester, and Gillingham areas.

You will need to drive a transit sized van and have full UK driving licence (manual) with 0-6 points

Key Responsibilities:

• Litter Picking: Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy by regularly collecting litter.
• Bin Store Maintenance: Ensure bin stores are clean and properly maintained.
• Internal Works: Perform tasks on one site, including minor repairs and maintenance and cleaning
• Repairs & Bulk Collection: Carry out basic repairs and collect bulk items as needed.
• Enquiry Response: Address inquiries by removing trip hazards and performing basic DIY tasks such as changing locks and fitting notice boards.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence (up to 6 points accepted)
• Basic DIY skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
