Practice Manager £35-£40k per annum - Chiswick . London

Are you an experienced manager looking for an opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic team at a brand-new veterinary start-up?

We are ideally looking for someone with a clinical background, such as a veterinary nurse, who is looking for a fresh and exciting challenge.

You will hold a key role within the practice leadership team and will be responsible for the smooth operational running of the clinic, driving financial performance, team engagement, client satisfaction and contribute to the delivery of overall clinic performance.

You understand and are passionate about the aims of the business and always promote these to your team and clients.

Within this framework you will have autonomy to operate the clinic with guidance from the Clinical Director and Creature Comforts support team.

You will directly line manage, support, and develop the front of house practice host team and the admin team.

Main purpose & goals

• Operational Excellence.
• Understand and implement all practice protocols for the smooth operation of your practice.
• Ensure the highest standards of client care to our members through respectful and engaging communication.
• Lead team communications and ensure all relevant new communications and protocols are shared and understood.
• Ensure the practice is in good repair and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Lead operational delivery of business-critical areas including HR, accounts, H&S, client care, Marketing, and recruitment.
• Business Performance.
• Promote membership and client acquisition working closely with the Membership Exec.
• Understand the local clinic strategy and the wider business strategy. 
• Be aware of and assist in the financial delivery of the budget.
• Leadership of the Client Care Team – Practice Host team and Admin team.
• A proportion of time spent covering the host station and chat function if needed.
• Excellent operational leadership.
• Direct and develop the Client Care / Practice Host team and the admin team.
• Be an advocate for the business, the veterinary industry and beyond.
