TeacherActive is currently working with a variety of Colleges and Higher Education Institutes throughout South Wales that are seeking Lecturers. We have both sessional and long-term positions available. 
 
As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering the full curriculum of your specialism up to Level 3 standard.  There may also be a requirement to work with ALN pupils and pupils with challenging behaviour. This will include planning, preparing, and delivering exceptional lessons to support students in obtaining professional qualifications in their field. You are accountable for your students' learning and progress, and tracking their progress is crucial to maintaining high standards. You will collaborate with your line manager to develop and support your students as they work towards their qualifications. 

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching their specialty in an FE environment. Ideally, you will have a recognised teaching qualification such as DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education, or a PTLLS or CTLLS.  

Six months of referenceable experience is essential, as is having a valid DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain one. We can assist you with this process.
