We are currently partnering with a highly regarded and hugely successful international digital media brand Reporting directly to a Senior Global Director, this is a critical role within the London and global team more widely and will play a key part in terms of driving large scale, finance transformation projects.

We are seeking exceptional talent - those who can operate with ease as part of senior level discussions in respect of accounting and strategic finance matters and add real input and value.

Within the role you will have the opportunity to lead a broad range of responsibilities across accounting, tax, treasury as well as corporate finance. These will include as follows

• Manage and develop a finance team with 4 direct reports; as well as an off shore team
• Oversee all aspects of statutory accounting activities, the annual audit process and compliance across all markets globally
• Lead the development of a full set of consolidated management accounts for the three financial statements - P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.
• Act as the accounting subject matter expert for the group and able to write technical accounting papers in respect of current and new transactions in a fast evolving environment
• Develop and maintain a robust Internal Control policies environment to minimise financial risks with the company
• Leadership of tax planning, tax policies and compliance across all legal entities.
• Ensuring that the global tax operating model is fit for purpose as well as oversight of all corporate & indirect tax compliance and advisory activities
• Ownership of transfer pricing policies for the group, ensuring they are both commercially and operationally robust and also compliant with tax regulations.
• Lead tax advisory matters for the group
• Manage budget for external spend for tax compliance and advisory
• Lead treasury operations, including cash and liquidity management, systems and control environment
• Continuous improvement of treasury policies, processes and systems.
• Be the finance lead on corporate projects as required e.g entity mergers, liquidation, cash repatriation
• Act as a senior business partner with the wider UK and international finance team, financial planning & analysis, systems and finance operations and other business partnering teams
• Oversee the work of offshore resources in Bangalore
  
  

The role is suited to a qualified finance professional who possesses extensive relevant post qualified experience, predominantly across technical finance and tax.

Previous experience of tax planning, international tax, tax operations work as well as an understanding of corporate tax implications is all essential
