Controls Engineer – Automation, Robotics, Special Purpose Machinery (SPM)
Tewkesbury
~£50,000 pa + Company Car/Allowance: +£5,000 pa & Private Healthcare (inc. partner& kids)
Daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)
Overtime x1.5 (for anything above 40 hours)
Permanent
Duties:
- Programming PLC, SCADA, from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Installation & commissioning on customer sites – approx. 50%. UK/international – all accommodation & expenses paid
- Project Ownership, ideally with understanding of full 'cradle-to-grave' process, from conception through design, build, and customer success!
- Performing modifications to existing software, robot programming & electrical design (EPLAN)
- Controller/device data exchange through industrial networks (EtherNet, PROFINET)
- Leadership skills - Willing & able to provide guidance, impart technical knowledge, and act as a mentor for others when required.
