This is an exceptional opportunity to join their fast-paced Commercial department as a Senior Estimator. This key role will be primarily located at their award-winning workspace in Bristol, with occasional travel to their Cardiff HQ and potentially other UK locations for client meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in securing new contracts by preparing comprehensive cost budgets and estimates.
• Conduct take-offs and meticulously generate Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Works to ensure project accuracy.
• Undertake detailed site surveys and actively participate in project team and supply chain meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Sales, and Project teams, providing expert commercial insights.
• Analyse post-contract situations to identify valuable lessons for future projects.
• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers at all levels, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a minimum of five years' experience in a similar estimating or quantity surveying role within the UK fit out/construction industry.
• Demonstrates a successful track record of leading significant fit out/construction projects.
• Possesses a keen eye for commercial viability and understands project delivery processes, market rates, profit margins, and value engineering.
• Can expertly interpret drawings and prepare accurate schedules of work and Bills of Quantities.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Maintains a professional demeanour in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and teams.
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Is highly motivated and eager to learn and grow within the company.
• Has exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Maintains meticulous attention to detail for guaranteed accuracy.
• Is comfortable with travel throughout the UK for site visits and client meetings.
