Production Manager

As a Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, overseeing the production processes, and ensuring smooth operations within our world-class manufacturing facility. You will be key in driving Quality, Continuous Improvement and mentoring and leading your team.
**This role will be on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation**
Role: Production Manager
Salary: £55-58k + benefits + bonuses
Location: Swansea
Responsibilities for Production Manager:
- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Efficiently plan and organize manufacturing activities to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards and continuously improve processes to enhance overall product quality.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline operations and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational performance.
- Foster a positive and safety-focused work culture, promoting continuous learning and development opportunities for the team.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and production planning.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team, driving them towards achieving production goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
