Support Workers  Required in Northampton NN2 NN4 NN6

We are looking for Support Workers for our homes Supporting 8-18yrs with BESD

Support Workers hours and salary

RSW £11 -£13 per hour Sleeps £50 rates will increase with progression.

Senior Support Worker £12.75-£14.50 per hour

37.5 – 40 Hours per week

NVQ level 3 Children Residential or Equivalent Preferred

Drive ESSENTIAL

Support Workers responsibilities

RSW (Unqualified)Complete Induction, learn internal systems, attend fortnightly supervision, staff meetings, complete all phases of online training, attend face to face training, complete homes and YPs paperwork, daily recording and reporting.

RSW (Unqualified) after successful completion of probation period salary goes to £11 PH

As above, plus learn to complete RA, Care plans, Doc checks, undertaking QCF Level 4, supporting seniors/shift leaders, role modelling for new staff and YP.

RSW (Qualified)has completed QCF Level 3/4 £11/13 PH

As above for both, have to have QCF certificate, plus attend monthly supervision, act as a keyworker, attend external meetings, be competent to lead the odd shift, a good understanding of safeguarding and contribute to staff meetings.

Senior RSW £12.75 -£14.50 PH As above, have to have 2 years’ experience in residential care, follow safeguarding procedures, shift lead and manage the shifts including YPs behaviours and staffing issues, supervision of staff, management tasks as set out by the RM, carrying out inductions. Designation for the RM.
