Role: Test Engineer
Contract: 12 months+
Location: North West
Rate: £34 - £37/ph Umbrella
SRG are currently recruiting for an Electrical/ Electronics Test Engineer to join a successful client on an initial 12-month contract with the view of extension. As the Test Engineer you will be responsible for production test and diagnostics of complex weapons at system and subsystem level.
Responsibilities:
- Test complex electronic and electrical equipment
- Assess test equipment issues and resolve equipment failures down
- Evaluate technical problems in order to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements
Criteria:
- HNC/HND Electronics (or equivalent)
- An understanding of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level
- An understanding of Environmental testing (desirable)
- Must be a UK passport holder
- Manual handling training.
