Job description:

We are looking for a pro-active and passionate Early Careers Teachers (ECT) to join our dedicated team. We want someone who demonstrates a proven track record of planning and delivering high quality  As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will teach numerous subjects to children aged 5-7, so years 1 and 2. The successful candidate will have a love and desire for teaching.

Our school, located 15 minutes outside of the city centre aims to ‘deliver a bespoke curriculum that has at it’s heart the attributes of a family-orientated multicultural community. We care passionately about our children’s well-being, their individuality and their diversity’.  The primary school are all inclusive and committed to working towards equality. They promote positive approaches to difference and foster respect for people of al cultural backgrounds.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to all the student’s needs, with a keen understanding of the importance of data analysis.
  • Create and maintain an inclusive learning environment, whilst providing inclusive feedback to promote growth.
  • Access and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Provide strong communication to colleagues, parents and students.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and creative, with a passion for education.
  • Recent experience in teaching (including placements) within a Primary School.
  • Qualified teacher status and registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).          
  • Enhanced child workforce DBS check.
  • Minimum of two references.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and current educational practises.
