HGV C+E Class 1 Driver’s Required Day’s Trunking
Wright Staff are currently looking for experienced HGV C+E Class 1 drivers for new contract.
The opportunity – Wright Staff are proud to represent a large family run distribution company located near Brierly Hill Birmingham
Our client is looking for HGV C+E Class 1 drivers to work alongside their own team,
The Job – The perfect candidate will be expected to drive HGV C+E Class 1 vehicle delivering Steel tube and sheet products.
Most routes are trunking or trailer swaps with no handball use of steel trailers and experience delivering steel would be beneficial due to load securing etc.
Shift length can be long but are in keeping with the law, normal start times normally are between 05:00 & 07:00am days, ongoing work available
Monday to Friday with occasional weekends working available.
Pay;
Days £15 per hour PAYE only
Weekends / Bank Holiday £17 per hour PAYE
** NO Limited company contractors **
You will require.
- UK HGV C+E Class 1 driving licence, held for 2 for insurance purposes.
- Some Steel experience preferred
- Valid UK CPC card
- Valid UK Digi Card
Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C+E Licence with no more than 3 points with no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing. You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC. They also must be physically fit and happy to deal with the public.
