Nelson Recruitment Services are excited to be recruiting for a client based in the Coulsden area. We are hiring Home Delivery Drivers.

Pay: £13.96ph - weekly pay

The role as a Delivery Driver will be :

• 3.5T Multi drop customer delivery
• Some Heavy lifting
• Great customer service skills needed
• Routes cover Redhill, up to and including city of London, Richmond and Dartford
• Drug and alcohol testing is conducted on site at random
• Every driver will be monitored on performance also a through a telematics system
• You will be required to keep the inside of the van clean, must refuel upon return, sometimes it is a requirement to wash the van

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Previous experience is essential
• Full UK Manual licence only
• No more than 3 points will be accepted
• Endorsements codes that will not be accepted are DR and BR.

Shift details

• Shift times for AM are between 5am – 8am this is a 8 hour shift, Shift times for PM are between 12pm – 3pm then a 8 hour shift.

Before your start you will be provided with training:

• Training is normally only given Monday – Friday so you must be available on these days
• You will be booked in for an assessment which will include:

1. Assessment ( 45 minute drive)

2. Hazard Perception test

3. Safety talk

4. 2 buddy days once the assessment is passed and before you are out on your own
