Power Systems Electrical Engineer
An international renewable energy developer and power producer are currently seeking a Power Systems Electrical Engineer to join their team in Gloucestershire.
This company have been trading for almost 20 years, and have a solid track record in onshore renewable energy solutions – from solar / PV to battery storage – in over 15 countries and territories worldwide.
The package for this role is pretty comprehensive, and includes:
- Starting salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
- Private health care, paid for by the company
- Annual bonus scheme – up 10% of salary
- 28 days’ holiday + all public holidays

In return, the company expectation is that you will:
- Work alongside the origination team to identify grid capacity across UK distribution networks
- Complete G99 and G100 applications
- Perform feasibility studies and assessments for connecting renewable energy projects to the grid
- Review grid connection offers
- Execute grid connection applications at both transmission and distribution levels
The successful candidate will:
- Be a graduate in the fields of electrical engineering, power systems or other relevant discipline
- Have demonstrable experience in the UK power systems industry
- Understand the UK grid connection regulatory framework
- Be either based in Gloucestershire, willing to relocate, or able to work there a couple of days a week on a hybrid basis
