COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a seasoned Shift Lead Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the UK Headquarters of a leading American multinational technology company. This company is renowned for its consumer electronics, computer software, and online services, and is the world's largest technology company by revenue and the most valuable company since January 2021.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Shift Electrical Engineer, you will have a proven track record in a corporate environment, leading a team of at least one other engineer, and delivering exceptional client-facing service. The shift pattern involves both days and nights (7-7, 12-hour shifts), repeating every 14 days as follows:

  • 3 Days, 2 off, 2 Days, 3 off, 2 Nights, 2 off, 3 Nights, 2 off, 2 Days, 3 off, 2 Days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead your team to deliver excellent service by monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, and escalating issues to the Contract Supervisor.
  • Perform Multi-Skilled Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) on Building Services Plant and Systems.
  • Ensure all completed work and documentation by technicians complies with current legislation.
  • Proactively maintain and ensure good site husbandry.
  • Manage, cost, and complete Reactive Works identified through PPM tasks.
  • Develop strong working relationships with our client.
  • Provide “out of hours” call out cover.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Significant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a commercial/office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in electrical plant servicing, repair, and installation.
  • Proficiency in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems and their controls.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical plant and equipment, including isolation procedures.
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / AM1 / AM2 (or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
