One Step are working with a leading solicitor firm based in Somerset. They are looking to expand their team with an experienced Commercial Conveyancing Assistant.

The ideal candidate would have 2 years’ experience within a solicitor firm. Must have experience on Leap System.

A Commercial Conveyancing Assistant duty would include:

• Provide clerical and administrative support to fee earners, this could be part of a team or individually
• Consistently providing a high level of service to all clients. This could include professional, and knowledgeable and friendly service
• Dealing with matter via phone calls, emails and face to face with clients and employees
• Effectively use, maintain and managing the case management system whilst following the firm’s procedures
• Ensuring all appointments and/or meetings are booked in. Attending all meetings and assist with note taking as and when is required
• Dealing with general administration tasks, for example; photocopying, printing of documents, sorting through post, etc.
• Meeting all deadlines within the specified timeframes
• Ensuring prompt response to telephone and email enquiries

Working days are Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch break.
