We are looking for a Class 2 truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of palletised goods to our clients customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with a team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries. Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and a can do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Following all company Health and Safety guidelines and work to the company Standard Operating Procedures
- Driving the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law and within tachograph regulation and driver hour limits
- Unload the vehicle, ensuring the products and returns are loaded safely and secured to minimise damage
- Sound geographical knowledge of London
Candidate requirements
- Must have Class 2 experience
- Must have a valid CPC/Tachograph licence
- Must be physically fit
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must be over 25 years old and had your licence at least 2 years
