💼 Position: Accounts Assistant

📍 Location: Bradford

⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm

📅 Contract: Permanent

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team in preparing monthly Management Accounts and providing essential financial administrative support. 💼

Your main duties and responsibilities will include: 📋

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Analysing overhead and variances
  • Checking and posting bills
  • Producing ad-hoc management information using Excel
  • Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Inputting purchase ledger invoices into the system
  • Carrying out general administration tasks as required
  • Assisting auditors with requests

To succeed in this role, you'll need: 🏆

  • Previous experience within an accounts function
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • A team-oriented and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills, including intermediate level MS Excel
  • AAT qualification or equivalent desired
