Description

Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will initially lead a small team to build strong maintenance management systems and culture before growing the function.

Day to day responsibility will include:

• Manage and oversee all maintenance processes within the manufacturing facility
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely
• Coordinate and supervise the work of the maintenance team
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Manage maintenance budget and expenditure
• Identify and resolve any issues or disruptions to production
• Provide technical leadership and training to the maintenance team

Profile

A successful Maintenance Manager should have:

• A relevant qualification in engineering (ideally electrical)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experience of leading and developing engineers
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong maintenance systems understanding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
