SQL Database Administrator - Cloud DBA - Expiring soon!

We are seeking an experienced DBA to work on our Azure SQL databases.
With your expertise, you will come in and assess the wider picture of the estate - looking at recommendations to optimise and make a difference to the business.
  
You will be involved in the maintenance, management and optimisation of our database environments. Alongside this, you will have exposure to supporting the Infrastructure team on an ad hoc basis with general maintenance, patching operating systems, Azure or Microsoft 365 activates including but not limited to Active Directory upkeep and tickets raised by users.
  
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager within IT Operations, you will be working with a close knit team and our third party provider. 
There is light touch Oracle DBA activities which are conducted by a third party provider, you will be able to gain some knowledge here through this exposure, we are not expecting an expert. 
  
About you -
  
* Experience dealing with Azure SQL databases (essential) 
* Experience dealing with Oracle databases (desirable but not required) 
* General exposure to Infrastructure activities (desirable) 
* Understanding of Azure Data Platforms to liaise with the dedicated BI Team
* Exposure to database monitoring tools 
* Working within a high availability environment 
* Self-motivated, the ability to come in and make decisions on the technical environment and enhancements to implement
  
Permanent position 
Hybrid working - 2x days office-based, 3x days working remotely 
Location: Milton Keynes based office 
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
