Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated History and Politics Teacher to take on a part time position in an outstanding school in central Bath from September!

The History department is part of the Humanities faculty, offering a supportive and experienced team. The school has strong History results, with many students choosing it for GCSE and A Level, therefore the successful candidate will teach History at KS3, GCSE, and A Level, with a possible opportunity to teach Politics A Level.

Additionally, the school is part of an excellent trust in which have masses of professional development opportunities shared across their 11 Secondary and Post 16 schools. Therefore, you would have access to enhanced resources and share collaboration opportunities to promote the exchange of ideas and best practises.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A well-qualified, highly motivated and engaging teacher of History able to deliver outstanding lessons across the ages and ability range at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Creative and innovative; willing to contribute to the development of students learning and their progress.
  • A practitioner with high skills in self – evaluation.
  • Committed to continuous professional development leading to outstanding teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
