MDE are hiring for an experienced Logistics professional for an exciting opportunity with a highly successful manufacturing business with huge expansion plans offering great job security as well as progression. The role is on site on a permanent and full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Flow Optimization
• Oversee Value Stream Mapping for logistics.
• Support new part initiatives within the department.
• Promote cost solutions.
• Manage Safety Systems
• Project Management
• Continuous Improvement
• Maintain and improve warehouse physical condition and layout for efficient space utilization.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to enhance business efficiency, process improvements, and value addition.
• Health and Safety: Uphold standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
• Business Alignment: Define concepts aligned with the business plan.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• BSc degree in relevant field.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics procedures and best practices.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and systems.
• Previous experience leading logistics projects.
