PROSPERO TEACHING

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary school in Cardiff. This role is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked with children who have Additional learning needs, such as ADHD/ ASD/ EBD. The candidate will be expected to use their initiative within this role, however Team Teach training will be provided. You will be working within mainstream classes for the majority of the time, there will also be time for small groups study sessions.

This role will require the candidate to work full time and must be able to commit to the entire academic year, in order to provide continuity for the pupil. There is the option for this role to go permanent after an introductory period if both the candidate and client wish so.

* Minimum rate of pay - GBP93.60 a day.
* Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist)

*Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
