Salary/Rate:
£18,000 - £23,000/annum Negotiable based on experience.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Support individual and small groups of students with their learning. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning materials accordingly.
  • Engage with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of activities.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2/3 TeacLhing Assistant qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Relevant training in SEN support is desirable.

Experience: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable. Experience supporting children with SEN is a plus.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Organizational and time management abilities.
