PROFILE – Quality Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a global leader in manufacturing at their Midlands site.

As a Quality Engineer you’ll be looking to ensure a balance between issue prevention, continuous improvement, and robust root cause analysis; all with long term sustainability in mind.

DUTIES – Quality Engineer

• Provide quality management-related content, tools, and systems to Leadership.
• Providing specific training material and training sessions.
• Continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related QMS.
• Performs audits to assess compliance with the defined system.
• Uses quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.
• Acts as a local process owner for defined quality-related processes.
• Undertakes activities related to designated Quality areas.
• Act as the voice of the customer for Quality related scenarios.
• Following a robust root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Supports and maintains the quality management system.
• Utilises QMS to provide the local teams with procedures that enable sustainable execution.
• Coordinates and participates in benchmarking activities within the industry.

EXPERIENCE – Quality Engineer

• Data Analysis & Reporting.
• Quality Assurance & Excellence.
• Supplier Relationship Management.
• Practical Problem solving (Facilitator)
• 8D or 6 sigma experience. Green Belt.
• Internal auditor ISO 9001.
• Advanced Product Quality Planning.
